1. What is a Care by Volvo subscription?
Care by Volvo is a flexible subscription with a fully inclusive monthly payment. This payment includes the usage of the vehicle, maintenance, and other common services related to vehicle ownership. Volvo also takes care of the insurance coverage.
2. What is the difference between a Care by Volvo subscription and a conventional vehicle lease?
When you lease a car, you have a longer contract, usually of 36 months. With Care by Volvo, you don’t have the same long-term commitment, as you can cancel your subscription and return the vehicle any time after your 5th scheduled payment.

4. What is included in the maintenance?
With your Care by Volvo subscription, we include the factory scheduled service recommended for your Volvo with every 10,000 miles, at no charge. It also includes wear elements: replacement windshield wiper blades, brake pads and rotors.
5. What is Excess Wear Protection?
When your vehicle is returned, it will be subject to inspection by a third party. With Care by Volvo; we will waive up to $1,000 of excess wear on the condition report. Examples of excess wear includes large dents and dings to body panels, windshield damage, and tire replacement due to wear, scratched, gouged wheels and interior damage.
6. What is Road Hazard Tire and Wheel Protection?
With Care by Volvo, we repair or replace unlimited tires and wheels damaged by road hazards, which include debris on the road or road conditions such as potholes. The wheel is covered when it cannot be balanced or will not hold air. Normal road characteristics, such as curbs, are not considered road hazards.
7. What about taxes and registration fees?
Taxes and registration fees vary by state and are not included in the subscription price shown online. Your monthly payment including taxes and fees will be summarized before going any further.

8. Can I purchase additional mileage with Care by Volvo?
The Care by Volvo subscription includes an allocation of 1,250 miles a month. Unfortunately, we do not offer additional mileage to buy with Care from Volvo at this stage. If you exceed the 1250 miles per month limit, an extra charge of $0.25 per mile will apply when you return your Volvo.
9. Who can subscribe to Care by Volvo?
A Care by Volvo subscription is for individual and family use, and not as a product for business use.
10. Can I cancel my subscription early?
You can cancel your subscription any time after your 5th scheduled payment without incurring any early termination charges. This cancellation option applies to any new subscriptions starting October 21, 2020.
11. Can I switch my Volvo vehicle to another model prior to the end of the 24 month term?
Care by Volvo is a flexible subscription program, as long as you meet the requirements for the cancellation option, it is simple to return your vehicle and qualify for a new vehicle. Please contact customer service to request a new car.
12. Can I take my vehicle outside of the United States?
Yes, you can drive your vehicle in Canada for 30 days or less.
13. What happens if I move out of state?
You would notify us of your address change, and we will mail you your new insurance cards. We will provide you with the necessary documents to register the vehicle at your local DMV.

15. What happens at the end of my subscription period?
At the end of your subscription period you will need to return the vehicle to an authorized Volvo retailer. You will receive a final bill for any excess mileage above your 1,250 miles/month allowance and excessive wear per the vehicle condition report above the $1,000 waiver. Additionally, a Vehicle Turn-in fee of $350 is applicable unless you decide to sign a new contract to subscribe, lease or finance a new Volvo at that time.
16. Can I purchase my Volvo?
The purchase price for your Volvo will appear on your Care by Volvo contract, so you know the price up front.
17. How do I start a Care by Volvo subscription?
Start by choosing your car from our selection of in stock cars online. Once you have selected your car, you will follow a few easy steps to confirm your eligibility. Eligibility is based on insurance and credit factors. After your order is confirmed, our Care by Volvo customer care team will contact you to arrange delivery.
18. What do I need to sign up?
You must have a valid US driver’s license and a minimum of 2 year’s credit history.
19. How is eligibility determined?
Program eligibility is determined by several different risk factors, including credit. If ineligible for the program, we won’t be able to provide the specific cause, as there are a number of factors that contribute to this decision. We accept joint requests where both candidates will be required to qualify for the subscription.
20. Can I trade-in my car with Care by Volvo?
A trade-in may not be applied to Care By Volvo membership. If you have a trade-in, your preferred Volvo dealer can assist you with your trade as a separate transaction.

Yes, you will need to contact Customer Care at 1-800-550-5658 to cancel your online order prior to you signing the Care by Volvo agreement.
22. Can Care by Volvo be combined with other offers?
Care by Volvo may not be used together with any other promotional offer or special program.

Within the framework of the Care by Volvo program, Volvo provides your insurance coverage. We work with Liberty Mutual Insurance to obtain complete protection for our vehicles.
24. Whom can drive in the Care by Volvo contract?

26. What coverages are provided?
Coverages and limits are provided at or in excess of state requirements. Coverage and limitations are preselected and cannot be modified. Your insurance coverage prohibits the use of the vehicle in any vehicle sharing program, to transport passengers or goods for hire. This must be verified with your current umbrella insurer prior to delivery. We can provide you with the insurance coverage details and your vehicle VIN to share with your provider.

Your Care by Volvo subscription includes Gap Insurance to provide you with a worry-free experience. In the unfortunate event of a total loss situation, you will be responsible for your Care by Volvo subscription payments up to the date of the loss as well as your deductible.
