Big Chances Under the Hood
The 2014 Volvo XC90 came standard with a 3.2 liter inline 6 cylinder engine that produced 240 horsepower and a total of 236 lb-ft. of torque. This naturally aspirated engine could haul 4960 lbs. comfortably and managed a fuel economy rating of 16 city/25 hwy. While this might seem pretty good for a luxury SUV, there have been significant improvements to what’s hiding under the hood of the 2016 Volvo XC90.
The 2016 model now sports a turbo/supercharged inline 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine that is capable of 316 horsepower and 295 lb-ft. of torque. On the Inside
